Biography

Bob Maehre has pastored local churches for 28 years. Now retired, Bob is a business owner with his wife Susan, vocalist, keyboardist. Susan is also an LPC, a mental health counselor.

Bob has invented many items and watches "Shark Tank" and other programs, often saying, "I invented that 10 (or however many) years ago... but I was busy with other things at the time."

At 13 years old, long before it was invented in Detroit, Bob carved a model of, what today is, the "minivan." When a friend told him at age 16 what a geostationary orbit is, his first thought was, "We could build an elevator to space," which many people are now working on and is very similar to his "vision" in the 60's.

After college Bob created a company to create visual aids for another company that helped thousands of people quit smoking.

 

Bob's business is still doing well and has moved on to create several Bible based visual aids and, with his very talented musician wife, Susan, has recorded many musical accompaniment CD's for churches that don't have live musicians available. www.35hymns.com
